I looked down at the shivering Millie. “Good thing it stopped. We’d drown if it continued raining till tomorrow.” “Thank you, Flynn.” Millie looked at my wet hair and back. She knew she would’ve been soaked if I had not sheltered her from the rain. Achoo! Millie suddenly sneezed and I brought my hand to her forehead. “Good, it doesn’t seem like you have a fever.” Seeing her shiver, I wrung out my shirt and draped it over her. “Hang in there. They’ll find us soon.” Despite the clothes, Millie was still shivering. I was already dry at that point, so I pulled her into my arms and hugged her tightly to use my body heat to warm her up.
