Yvette fell silent before uttering, “Flynn, are you afraid they’re spies sent by the other groups?”
Nodding my head, I replied, “It’s a possibility. I planned to sneak into the northern part of the island in these two days for a look.”
“Don’t!”
Yvette furrowed her brows and voiced her disapproval. “Flynn, you can’t do that. If what you’re saying is true, you’d risk putting yourself in danger.”
“Let’s not talk about this, Yvette. Bella and Millie don’t see the bad in people, and Alana seems to get on with the couple. I’m counting on you to keep tabs on them. Notify me if you catch anything suspicious.”
We could never be too careful since we knew nothing about these two people. It was imperative to keep our eyes peeled as the girls’ safety was at stake.
