Chapter 5

Bani's(POV)

I could still hear my heart beat loudly.Its been more than 1 hour since Shiraaz had brought me home.I was shocked when he carried me on his shoulder and dumped me in his van like some stupid little kid.

How dare he treat me like that.I hate him.He is soo irritating.I won't talk to him ever,I thought to myself while pouting.He is not my brother nor my boyfriend.Than why is he acting like this.

"Relax Bani"i said to myself.

"You just have to ignore him and not think about the fact that he threatened to kiss you."

"He's just a big jerk"..."Calm down "

After so many words to myself I decided to enjoy myself.Sana's house was a big mansion which 3 floors to it.In the hall there were women making sweets of different types for the wedding.Little girls and boys were playing with water bubbles while the elders were sitting and drinking tea.It was so soothing to see so many people happy and enjoying themselves.

My mum was also helping in making sweets and my sisters were helping around also.Daksh bhai(brother)was coming at night.Dad was going to pick him up.I became really excited now.Bhai had not been home for 3 years and I wanted to see him so much.I was his favorite little sis and he would do anything for me.

I was standing on the steps and watching everyone when Sana came to me.

"There you are girl...look I got you a gift" she said with a sparkle in her eyes.

"You have to wear it tomorrow for Henna ceremony " said Sana.

But I protested..."you didn't have to Sana..I already had taken out a lahenga for tomorrow"

"Come on ,wear this tomorrow please .Can't you do it for me " she said while batting her eyelashes at me.

We burst out laughing.We knew she could be so dramatic when she wanted to.

"OK doll,you win..I will wear it just because you gave me with so much love "

"That's my girl" said Sana.

"Sana...Sana...can you take out the jewelry set for Zara...every one wants to see it dear"Sana's mum called from down stairs.

"I will be back soon" said Sana before leaving for her room.I was excited about the gift Sana got me so I sat down on steps to open the package.It was beautifully wrapped in a golden gift wrapper.I quickly tore at the tapes and opened it.

My eyes nearly popped out.

It was the same red lahenga I had tried on earlier in mall.

And than suddenly it hit me.Sana didn't know about this.That only means he bought it.....
