After we ate dinner with Travis, Jillian, Jon and her mother Lisa, I showed Lisa to her room. She was tired from today's events and I didn't blame her. " Thank you dear, it's so good to see you again" she said as I showed her the guest bedroom. " You're welcome" I replied as I turned around to walk back to the pool. " You know, I never got the chance to thank you for all the times you took care of Jillian. I know I wasn't the best mother, but I 'm so greatful that she had such a wonderful friend like you" she said as she put her hand on my shoulder. I felt a lone tear go down my cheek, I just put my other hand on hers, " Your welcome, although she has always been the sister I always wished to have" as I patted her hand and made my way back to the others.
