As I looked at all the boxes laying in the entryway, I was a bit sad yet happy at the same time. Steven walked up behind me, " You ready for this?" He asked me. " Of course, I just can't believe I'm moving back to Texas permanently" as he kissed the top of my head. " Don't worry, after I sell the house here, we can get one bigger by the beach to come back anytime you want" he said as he lifted up one of my suitcases. We headed to the Uber that was awaiting us. Steven and I pulled away from the La Jolla house and I watched it fade into the distance. I had finished up all my classes and now was going to permanently live in Texas with Steven.
