In the Club With Him

Chapter 3

Steven's P.O.V.

My night had been s**t and then all of a sudden, I see this gorgeous blonde hair blue eyed beauty standing at bar. I seriously was about to call it a night when I met this woman, she was tan and beautiful. After Bre and I officially met, I knew she was going to be something else. We shared an amazing night and I couldn't stop thinking about her. That wasn't normal for me, but she had this aura about her that just brought me in. I don't know if I was going to be able to concentrate at work, with her being on my mind. I wanted to do something special for her, so I called Travis and asked his opinon.

"Hey man, I got a question for you? "

"Sure, what's up?"

"If you wanted to do something special for a woman you asked to go on a date with, what would you do?"

"Well, one of the first date's Jillian and I went on, I sent her a dress that I picked out and she loved it. Why?"

"That's what I needed to know, thanks bud" as I quickly hung up the phone. I knew what I needed to do, so I called my secretary and asked her to meet me at the mall in fifteen minutes.

As my secretary and I browsed through the clothing racks, I just couldn't decide on which dresses Bre would look amazing in. " Kim, what do you think?" I asked her as I held up a dress.

"Ehh, if your saying she is blue eyed blonde hair beauty, you need to have a variety" as she held up a couple of dresses.

" Your right, thanks for your help." I said as I left her my credit card as she finished up shopping for Bre. I had to get back to the office to finish out my day early, so that I could get home and get ready for tonight with Bre.

Bre's P.O.V.

As I got ready, I knew I needed to call Jillian and let her know what was going on.

"Hello?"

"Hey Jill, I've got some news to tell you but can we do it in person?" I said excitedly.

"Sure, I'll have Jon come get you and bring you back to the penthouse. " Jill said.

"Ok, Great!" I said and we hung up.

I decided to go wait in the lobby for Jon as he came to pick me up. I went to the bar and noticed a woman looking at me strangely but I just shrugged it off. No harm no foul and I didn't feel like messing with strangers.

I ordered a mimosa as it was late morning and I watched the news when Jon came and tapped me on the shoulder.

"Jeez, you scared me to death."

"Sorry Breanna, I didn't mean to startle you." he said as he held out his hand for me to take and I took it as he helped me off the bar stool. I gulped the rest of the drink down and walked out the door with Jon making small talk.

I turned around and noticed that the woman at the bar was just glaring at me. She looked to be in her late 20's but her body said otherwise as she was very trim and curvy. She had curly black hair and brown eyes. Her eyes just followed me as I got into the car with Jon and it somewhat bothered me. I tried to shrug it off as I had some great news to tell Jillian about Steven.

We arrived at the penthouse and I announced as I walked in, "I'm here!" as Jon opened the door for me.

"Haha, I can see that, so what's this news you are dying to tell me about?" Jillian asked.

"Your never going to believe who I was with last night?!" I said.

"Umm, have no clue. Who?!" She said.

"Travis's good friend, Steven Black." I squealed.

Travis had just come around the corner from the bedroom when he heard our conversation. " You met Steven? Where did you meet him at?" he exclaimed.

"Well I asked Jon to take me to a club and it was called DownSouth. He saw me at the bar and started talking to me. One thing led to another and I got his number...and then some..." I giggled. Travis and Jillian just looked at me in awe.

"Well how do you know he is friends with Travis?" Jill asked curiously.

"Steven told me about meeting you at the club opening. He also invited me to go with him to the Gala tonight. " I beamed.

"Wow said Travis. He never usually makes it to my events with a date. This is a big step for him." he winked at me.

"Well, I'm excited for you, Bre. I'm sure we will have a blast. Travis made spa reservations for us and we need to leave in a little bit. Do you have a dress to wear tonight?" Jillian asked.

"No, but I'm sure you can help me find something." I said as she sat next to me on the couch.

"Ok, Great." Jillian said as we watched T.V. together.

We soon were off and got our Spa treatments completed and I know I felt like a million bucks afterwards.I just hoped that I looked like it too especially being around Steven. We were headed back to the penthouse when I got a text.

"Who is it?" Jillian asked. I just showed her my phone.

Unknown Number: Hey sweetie, this is Steven. I wanted to let you know that I've sent a couple of dresses to Travis's penthouse for you to try on. Let me know which one you pick, so I can wear the matching tie. See you soon beautiful xox.

"Wow, girl." Jill said to me, "that is very thoughtful of him and you guys just met right?"

"Yes, I know. It's crazy but we got along so well last night and he really seems like a great guy." I smiled.

"Well I can't wait for tonight, we are going to have a blast." Jillian said as we pulled up to the penthouse. We both got out with Jon trailing behind. Jillian went into her bedroom and came out with an exquisite dress.

As Jillian showed me her dress that Travis got her, there was a knock on the door. Jon opened it for us and a man said, "delivery for Miss Breanna Fern."

"Yes, that's me." I said as I saw the multiple garment bags with a suitcase along with it.

"Wow. that's a lot of stuff." I said and Jillian and I just looked at each other. Jon helped us grab all of the bags and suitcase and put it in the spare bedroom so I could change and see which one I liked the best. It took me about 45 minutes between changing and finding the shoes that matched the outfit, before I found the perfect dress. It was a one shoulder elbow length red dress with a V neck bustline. It came down to right below my knees paired with black stilettos with diamonds on the toe.

"Damn girl, Jill said. He is going to die when he sees you."

"I know right, I can't wait to see what he looks like." I said.

Jillian and I got ready and it was just before 6pm. We had spent the rest of the time primping, drinking champagne and having a great time.

Travis and Steven arrived around the same time and I was nervous as all get out. I wasn't expecting to look so good with all the clothes that Steven had picked out for me. Jillian even told me that I was going to knock him dead.

As I walked out into the living room, I heard Steven gasp before I even saw him. He walked up to me and wrapped me up in his arms, as he whispered into my ear, "My sweetness, you are so gorgeous. It is going to take a lot of restraint to keep my hands off of you." as he kissed me on the lips sweetly.

I was mesmerized by how slow he was going. Last night was hot and heavy, but tonight I got the sense he wanted to take his time with me.

Travis and Jillian interrupted our moment and I looked at them shyly, while Steven had a firm hold on me.

Travis said, "Y'all ready to go? If we leave now, we will miss traffic. "

Steven replied, "Sure am buddy." as we walked out towards the car.
