Steven's P.O.V.
" Mom, where is dad?" I yelled upstairs as I got home from working out with my best friend, Travis. We were going to kill it, come baseball season. I thought to myself as I climbed up the stairs and knocked on my parent's door. I slowly opened it up to see my mother sobbing on the bed. " Mom, what's wrong? Where's Dad?" " He's gone...." she whispered out, still sobbing. " What do you mean gone?" I asked her as I held her in my arms. She handed me a letter and as I read it, my heart dropped.
