Kade couldn’t stop smiling as he rode his motorcycle down Ravyn’s street, the engine roaring somehow helped his thoughts flow easier. The day had gone better than he’d dared hope, better than he’d imagined when he first showed up at her door this morning, terrified something bad had happened to her when her brother sent for them so early.
