Ravyn didn’t stop moving until the door slammed shut behind her. She leaned against it, her pulse thunderous in her ears, breath shuddering out of her in uneven bursts. Her lips still tingled from the kiss—his kiss—and the phantom warmth of Kade’s fingers on her waist felt branded into her skin. She dragged her hands through her hair, half-laughing, half-groaning into the quiet. “What the hell was that?” she whispered to herself. Why had he done it? Why had she let him?
