For the first time in a long while, I stepped into my room. I was filled with anxiety at first due to my last experience in it but things looked and smelled normal again when I walked into it. Going to spend the night in Jude or Jade's room was out of the question, I had managed to hide away from them or the entire pack throughout the day and it didn't take long for night time to fall.
Flashes of how it was from before ran through my head but I chose to shrug it off. With a loud thud, I fell across my bed and sniffed in the smell of freshly cleaned sheets. I felt the tension on my lower back relax as I laid still.
