Everyone remained mute, staring down at what was before us. Children were not allowed to the site for their sanity sake and even women that saw this burst out in tears.
The previous Alpha and Luna stared in horror, so did I and many others. Jude and Jade looked upset to the core.
There was a body.
No head and a limb was already cut off. It was a female body, as young as Lily. What horrified me the most was that the body wore Lily’s clothes.
It was how we managed to sniff her out, her scent remained on the clothes of the dead body.
“It’s human,” Grey pointed out.
Relief washed through me a bit, knowing that she was still alive.
