"Katherine," I snapped out of my thoughts at the mention of my name. Blinking back to reality, my eyes began to scan through my environment, in search of the overly familiar voice that called out to me.
"Lily," a warm smile curled up my lips as tears stung my eyes.
My gaze softened and I pulled her in for a tight hug, remembering she was the reason we risked our lives in the first place. She was too young to have gone through whatever she had seen and I hated myself for not watching after her properly. She wouldn't have gone out of the bunker if I had kept my head straight and protected them like the Luna I had to be.
