Attack of the Fangirls

Elliott. I grumbled as I made my way through the corridor, into the section of the train that had been deemed “ Evilian Territory.”. Which is complete bull, but apparently separation is something very popular in this school. I could hear people, actual second years and above, jesting with each other, at me as I walked by. They practically hissed as I walked by. It would have hurt before, but after years of dealing with the judging from both Evilians and my family, I had definitely gotten past the stage of being hurt and now I ignored it. I approached the compartment that I knew my brother was in. I could hear him inside with his friends, all people that I hated. I took in a deep breath, because as much as I didn't want to do this, we needed to find Shiyloh. I begrudgingly opened the door, Shoulders back and chest out, my head was up and straight, though my jaw was tight. "What do you want blood traitor?" Breona sneered at me when I opened the door. "Good to see you too Cousin. But I'm not here for a reunion" I said bluntly. "Then why are you here?" Mercer asked “Shouldn't you be back with your Voyage friends? Or did they ditch you already?” "Shiyloh's gone missing and I wanted to know where she is" I told them ignoring what Mercer had said to me. “I don't suppose you three wouldn't have had anything to do with it?” “Why would we want anything to do with the filthy half-blood?” Breona asked rhetorically. “I wish we had. But we've been in here the entire train ride.” “We haven't even terrorized the first years yet.” Mercer laughed. I looked at Regulus, who hadn't said anything yet. "Loh's gone Missing?" I turned my head and saw Amirah. She was friends with Shiyloh, they studied together for finals last year. Apparently she wasn't as bad as Mercer was. But if that was true, why would she choose to be around him and these idiots? "She was with us one moment and gone the next" I told her “You haven't seen her?” I tried. "We haven't seen her" Amirah said to me, looking sorry "But if I do, I'll bring her to you" She smiled slightly at me, despite her Boyfriend and sister being there. "Thanks" I said before closing the door and walking out. I didn't look at Regulus, and despite not finding Shiyloh, I felt lighter as soon as I was out of there. Remus' P.O.V Okay this is absolutely ridiculous. How could she just disappear into nothing in seconds? It's not possible. She was holding my hand in one moment, I could feel her, hear her laughing at Jasper and Elliott. Then someone had collided into us and she had gone. How had I not earlier realized that she was really gone? I guess part of my mind thought that she was behind me, she often fell behind us due to her shorter legs, but she was always there. Only this time, the one time I hadn't checked, she hadn't been. I walked quickly to the Lovelace section of the train. It was quite a nice place, very calm feeling, whereas the Voyagers can be quite rowdy compared. I wasn't exactly scared for Shiyloh, I knew she could taken care of herself. But what was stumping me was how she disappeared, we were all hold hands and were joined together, sounds like we were casting some sort of evil spell, then she was gone and we didn't even realize it. I was mentally slapping myself for not realizing it as I walked. I stopped by several Lovelace compartments, but none of them had seen Shiyloh. They had all assured me that she was okay, and that if they saw her they'd tell her we were looking, and one third year had offered to walk her back to our compartment if she showed up. It was all very kind of them, but now I was beginning to worry, more than I was before. I began looking a bit more frantically, I stopped paying attention to where I was going, only knowing that I was going straight. Because of this,I bumped into someone. As I stumbled, I reached out to catch the person before they hit the floor painfully. I looked at the person, a girl as it turned out, she was beautiful, she had hair in corkscrew curls and grey eyes that shined in the enchanted light. When a throat cleared I realized I was staring and I stood up again, pulling her up with me. I saw Lily smirking at me. I cleared my throat and tried to brush off the look. "Did you find her?" I asked her, genuinely hoping that she had, although I didn't see Shiyloh with her. "No,” She sounded disappointed “Maxine, Carmen," I pointed to the girl that I'd helped "And I were looking for her" "Damn it!" I exclaimed, running a hand through my hair frustratedly. I could feel anxiety building in my chest as I turned in a circle before facing the girls again. "We'll find her" Carmen told me, obviously trying to comfort me. I was thankful for that, but it didn't really help much. "She's our friend too" Maxine told me. I shivered thinking about what could have happened to her. The train wasn't so big that she could have gotten lost, not after three years. I hoped that she was alright. Jaspers P.O.V I walked into a compartment that had Carrie Finnigan, Frank Northumberland, Daniel Thomas, Arthur Weasley and Molly Phillips all sitting in it. They didn't seem squished at all, even though there were technically more people in the compartment than there should have been. In fact, they all look very comfortable with the fact that they were so close. It reminded me, just briefly, of my group of friends. "Have you guys seen Shiyloh?" I asked, really hoping that they had, this was the last Voyage compartment, I had Alice Fortescue also working cause she had a fit when she found out that Shiyloh was missing. Fabian and Gideon Phillips, Molly's younger brothers, were helping her. "No we haven't. Why?" Molly replied, she looked up and away from Arthur when I had spoken. Molly was a seventh year, close to graduating. Arthur was also a seventh year and they had been dating for two years. It was quite sweet. "We were getting onto the train, we were walking to the compartment together then all of a sudden she disappeared. We're all looking for her now. I've got Alice, Fabian and Gideon looking, several other Voyagers keeping their eyes our for her and the others probably have gotten more help. I've tried the Prefects, but they weren't much help.” “That's not right, they're supposed to be here to help us.” Arthur stated. “Well, they were less than helpful this time around.” I replied bitterly. “We can try and help you. I haven't seen Shiyloh since the train station. I waved at her.” Daniel offered. “I saw her get onto the train with you guys.” Frank told me. “That's when we lost her.” “We have to find her, she could be in trouble, or hurt.” Molly fretted. “She sent us an S.O.S message. We know that she needs help.” I pushed my hair back from my eyes. “What could be wrong? Who would want to hurt Shiyloh?” Daniel asked. “Powell I could imagine.” Frank said “After what happened last year, I heard he wanted revenge on her. And none of the Evilians are very big fans of her.” “But the Prefects would never let anything happen to anyone. They're here to help us.” Molly stated. I shrugged my shoulders uselessly. “I was hoping you guys had seen her.” "I think I know where she went." Carrie said, speaking for the first time since I had arrived. "Where?" I urged, feeling my heart jump in my chest. "Before you guys got onto the train, I saw you guys, Elliott was flirting with Shiy, no different from how he with other girls, even though he was obviously joking around, but Shiyloh decided to toy with him, nothing out of the ordinary, Except, Elliotts fan girls were there, Maybe they took her." Carrie informed us. My eyes widened. That was it. It had to be. "Carrie, You. Are. Genius!" I stated before running out of the compartment, leaving them behind me. "You're Welcome!" I heard. I ran, right to the middle of the train, where there was no real dividing of Houses. It was the one place that everyone could sit wherever they wanted to, and hang out with whoever they wanted without being judged for it. I ran until I saw Elliott, Remus, Lily and two others girls, who had been standing down the Corridor, talking about something loudly. They were discussing where Shiyloh could have gone to. They turned around and stopped their conversation when they saw me and the ran over to me. "Jasper!" Remus started "Did you find her?" “No, But Carrie Finnigan gave me an idea as to where she might be" I said. I started to explain to them what Carrie had suggested to me. Throughout the story, they seemed to have different reactions, but at the end, the theory was the only one that really made sense. We went through the halls of the train before it stopped. The stop jerked us all to the side, making one of the girls that Lily had brought, Carmen her name was and the other girls name is Maxine, stumble a little bit. "We can't be there yet!" Lily fretted “We've only been on the train for an hour, maximum!” "Do you think we've broken down?" Maxine asked "It's a magic train, run with magical people. I don't think that they're stupid enough to let us break down" Carmen stated “It's not possible.” "Then what happened?" Elliott asked them. It didn't make sense, the train had never broken down, not since I'd been taking it. “Has the train ever broken down before?” I asked Lily. She shook her head “Not that I've ever read.” Then what had happened to make the train stop? It was controlled and steered by wizards and witches who knew exactly what they were doing. It should have been impossible. The answer soon came to us when there was an explosion coming from three compartments ahead of us. There were shrieks and cries from inside. Smoke billowed out from the compartment doors and windows. The smell seeped down the corridor, making tears jump to my eyes. That must have been Elliotts fan girls compartment. The others must have realized it too when Elliotts fan girls ran out coughing and choking from the smoke that was filling the compartment. They didn't even see us standing at the other side of the corridor, the just ran the other way, faster than I thought girls in high heels could run. I ran forwards, followed by the others. Inside the compartment, there was a cauldron, smoke pouring out of the cauldron, along with a smell that was absolutely horrid. I covered my nose with my shirt and blinked hard as the smoke stung my eyes. I rubbed at them to clear them up, still looking around the compartment. On the floor, underneath the table was a small bundle that was squirming around. Small noises came from it as it moved, cooing noises. I reached down, past the cauldron and picked up the bundle. I moved it around in my arms and the blanket moved, revealing a face under it. A small, chubby cheeked face, with big brown eyes and a smile. The smile seemed eerily familiar to me. I heard someone step up behind me and a gasp. “Shiyloh?”
