Goodbye to the League
Lily and I were on our way to the Room of Requirement. We'd been quiet most of the way and there was a sort of awkward air that hung around us. It was the last League meeting, the last that I would be attending for a while. I was going to miss all the kids we'd helped. "You ready to say goodbye?" Lily asked me uselessly. "No" I said and Lily nodded. "Me too" I took in a breath and pushed open the door. Only to see everyone already stretching and getting ready for the lesson that we had planned for today. My heart broke a bit more at the sight. They didn't need us any more, they could manage this on their own. The boys can handle it.
