Chapter 3 Bella's Plan

Michael sighed as he removed his jacket quietly so s not to wake up the woman sleeping so soundly on the bed. He was glad to have finally given the papers to Sarah. He would soon be getting everything he ever wanted, the woman he loved, a marriage built on love and if Sarah agrees, his woman could finally have a child of her own. He just wasn't sure if Sarah would agree to the donation but he shrugged off that thought, no one in their right senses would turn down a hundred million dollars. And most of all, Bella was her sister, she should be willing to do that much for her sister and for the money she would receive
Sarah calling
The vibrating of his phone brought him out of his thoughts only to see the name of the woman who had occupied his mind just now. He quickly picked up not wanting to disturb Bella's sleep
"Hello" he said
"Come over tomorrow afternoon, I'll have the documents revised and if you're okay with it, you can sign it" her voice held no emotion, she sounded as though it was a business call
"Revised?" He asked wondering what needed to be revised on the contract
"Tomorrow at twelve noon" she said and hung up on him and Michael looked at the phone as though he couldn't believe that she had actually cut the call.
"Hey" Bella's voice halted his train of thoughts and he turned to look at her and he quickly rushed to her side when she tried to sit up
"Easy Bella" he said as he helped her into a more comfortable position and she smiled at him whispering a "thanks"
"Who were you talking to just now?" She asked curiously and he didn't say anything
"Was that my sister? Did you speak with her about the donation?" She asked
"Don't worry about it love, I have it under control" he assured her and she sighed
"Michael please don't put pressure on my sister, for sure, this must not be an easy decision for her to make, so please go easy on her okay" Bella pleaded in a soft voice causing Michael to smile at her, he was pleased to see how kind she was. Not that he didn't already know but little acts like this made him want to give her the whole world
"Don't worry Bella, I know she's your sister, I'll treat her with the utmost respect " he promised her and she smiled and pecked him on the lip.
The vibrating of his phone pulled the couple out of their moment and he immediately stood up when he saw that it was work related
"Excuse me love, I need to get this" he said and moved out of the room and Bella relaxed on the bed as Michael came back in. "Sorry Bella, there's a little emergency at work, I need to head out right now"
"But it's already so late, what sort of work can't wait till tomorrow " she complained pouting her lips
"I know, I'm sorry, I hate leaving you all alone like this but it's very important that I go right now, I'll see you tomorrow morning " he pecked her forehead and left with his suit jacket
Immediately he went out, Bella stood up from her bed and walked over to the window and watched until Michael's car was out of her home. She picked up her phone and dialed a number and waited until the recipient picked up
"Hello Bella" Emma Smith, Bella's mom spoke through the phone
"Hey Mom" Bella greeted her back
"Thought you weren't going to call again, what's the latest with Michael and Sarah?" Emma asked and Bella chuckled moving out of her room into her living room
"It's going according to plan, he asked her to donate her eggs and I'm almost sure he's asked for a divorce though he hasn't mentioned anything to me. All I'm worried about now is if Sarah opens her mouth and decides to squeal" she told her mom who scoffed
"That will never happen, I'll make sure that stupid girl says nothing and agrees to the divorce. The truth from three years ago will never be known by the Brown family" Emma assured her daughter
"In the meantime, I need to do something to ensure that Michael won't leave me for any reason" Bella smiled evily as her plan took shape in her mind
"What do you mean?" Emma asked curious as to what her daughter was planning
"Don't worry Mom, just ensure Sarah does not do anything stupid, I'll handle Michael while I still have him wrapped around my finger" she told her mom who relaxed slightly
"Sarah is too stupid to be a problem, don't worry about her" Emma assured her daughter "you just make sure that whatever you are planning does not work against all we have strived to achieve "
"Don't you know your daughter by now mom? My plan never fails and that is why Michael still sees me as an angel" she smugly said
"Okay brainiac, as long as you become the new daughter-in-law of the Brown family, I'm in support of all your decisions" Emma told her and with that they spoke about other random things before finally ending the call.
"I need to get Michael into my bed" she told herself and moved towards her wine collection. Picking up one bottle, she smiled to herself as she began to visualize her plan.
The following day, Michael arrived at Bella's home around seven in the morning, he hadn't gone home to refresh since he planned on telling her that he was going to be away for the whole day. Bella saw his car driving in and quickly began to put her plans into action by spiking a glass of wine.
"Bella?" Michael called out as soon as he entered but didn't receive any response, he was quite tired from work, he had to stay up till around four in the morning to sort out the new development with one of his recent projects.
"You're back" Bella said as she came out of the kitchen in a red see through nightie with a plate of toast
"Why are you up? And what are you doing in the kitchen? Where is your maid?" He asked series of questions worried that her health could not take all the stress she was subjecting her body to
"Slow down Michael, she's in the kitchen, I woke up feeling much stronger and decided to eat downstairs, come join me, Rita made too much for only me to eat" she invited him with a soft voice
"Still you shouldn't be carrying that" Michael said as he collected the plate from her
"You treat me like a china doll that's going to break anytime" she pouted as he collected the plate from her and set it down
"I'm just looking out for you" Michael replied
"Whatever you say, how was work? Everything alright?" Bella asked
" Nothing I can't handle, I didn't come to eat Bella, I came to tell you that I'll be gone the whole day and may not come back today" Michael informed her as she sat down to eat and she frowned
"Oh, well in that case why don't we have breakfast together?" Bella suggested. Michael was about to refuse when Bella quickly shut it down "oh come on Michael, just breakfast, I promise I won't delay you" she added and he gave in and she squealed excitedly "Rita, please bring out the orange juice" she called out and her maid brought out the tray with two cups of juice and placed the cup that Bella had instructed her to give Michael in front of him.
Bella had prepared for every possibility to ensure that her plan does not fail, spiked juice for breakfast and wine for night depending on when Michael showed up.
She watched intently as Michael picked up his glass and downed the whole glass and as he set it down, his phone rang.
Sarah calling...
He paused slightly before picking up
"Michael you need to come home now before someone dies in this house " Maria screamed over the phone and cut the call causing Michael to frown in worry
"Sorry Bella, I have to leave now" he said standing up and startling Bella
"But breakfast isn't over yet, can't you wait just a little bit?" She asked panicking
"Some other time Bella, I need to sort out something "
"But Michael "
"Bye Bella, I'll call you" He said and left her standing and she began to panic as she saw the time, the drugs would take effect in about thirty minutes time but he was going away and she knew she heard his sister's voice over the phone which meant that he was going to where Sarah was.
Screaming in frustration, she swiped down the entire table at the thought of Sarah and Michael getting intimate because of her plans.
