Lian Xu was sitting inside a mobile command unit parked within the compound. She was reviewing encrypted logistics files, headset on, sipping coffee. One of her guards stood outside. The other ran a perimeter check.
And that’s when the van’s screen flickered. One file opened by itself…An unauthorized transmission was sent.
“What the hell…” Lian’s brows furrowed.
Suddenly, red alerts filled the screen. Her entire transit blueprint, outgoing shipments, covert border checkpoints, ciphered driver IDs was being duplicated and uploaded.
“Shut it down!” She shouted, but the system wasn’t responding.
The locks clicked. The doors sealed.
