Norella pov My sobs echoed through the room, each one a raw, painful sound that seemed to vibrate off the walls. My body trembled under the weight of my grief, my heart feeling as though it was breaking into a million pieces. Suddenly, as if a switch had been flipped, I stopped crying. The silence that followed was almost as deafening as my sobs. I wiped my tears away with the back of my hand, my gaze drifting to the bag beside me.
