I went to the kitchen with haste. Knowing Jared he would be peeved that my ten minutes had turned to more like thirty plus minutes. Once I turned the corner I spotted Jared sitting at the kitchen table fuming. I mouthed a sorry to him, and then pointed my index finger, indicating I needed another minute or so before we could talk. He jumped up and shouted "Seriously?!"
