Chapter 12 What is this feeling

“Mom I’m serious, I was sounded by walls. I couldn’t breathe in the dream; it was like someone was trying to kill me,I mean it mom Please believe me,I’m so scared”. I said as I started crying because I felt as if something was following me that I couldn’t see.

“Sarah take a deep breaths and calm down first and you can start telling me what your dream was all about.” Mom said as I follow her instructions, I took a deep breath and I can feel myself relaxing.

“In my dream I felt as if someone was beside me and I couldn’t breath I was struggling but I couldn’t move, and everywhere was sounded by walls and then it started breaking on its own, That was when I woke up and I found myself in the room which was dark. Mom do you think it’s because of that bangle, I just don’t know everything just feel somehow to me.”I told mom and I Nice mom was trying to hide her worries which didn’t go unnoticed to me.

“Sarah you just have to forget about it ok, you are just scared because of the dream you had which is normal, so just relax and forget about it ok. Nothing is going to happen to you, I’m going out do you want to come along?” Mom asked

“Off course, I can’t stay home alone.” I said as when to put something on, I decided to put on jeans and blue hoodie because the weather was a bit cold. I went outside and found mom talking with James. James is thirteen years old why Justin is ten years old, I love my brothers so much.

“I and Sarah is going out, we will be back before you know it. Make sure you look after your brother and you guys shouldn’t go far ok.” Mom said

On our way going,i and mom started perceiving the smell of the bangle we burned at home, it was like the smell was following us. I told mom that I could smell the bangle we burnt at home, she said she could also perceive it to; After sometime the ordure went away.

We get to the place we are going after sometime, the house wasn’t that big it was a room and pallor apartment. Mom went ahead and hug her friend, they kept on talking for along time. I couldn’t continue listening to their talk about their business so I went outside to receive fresh air, the moon was shining brightly in the sky. I love it when it’s night time because I can feel the cold breeze in my skin as I look at the sky and imagine how my life will be in future.

I want to make a lot of money so I can help my family, that have always been my goal ever since I was little. When ever I look at the sky it always gives me hope that someday my life will change for good when the time comes. I was still thinking about how my future will be when I noticed someone beside me.

“The sky looks so beautiful tonight with millions of stars shining brightly,It looks beautiful just like you. I’m Sorry for the way I interrupted you; my name is Caleb and I live not to far from here. Do you leave here”?

“No, this is my first time here. My mom and I came to visit someone.”I said as I look at him in the moon light, he looks charming and he’s tall. His scent is so good I feel like like hugging him, I couldn’t look at him for long because my heart was bitting fast. I haven’t felt like this to anyone before, this was the first time I’m feeling this way. What was this feeling. I was lost with my thought when I felt someone touching me on my shoulder.

“Is anything wrong I have been called for the past two minutes now” he said as he looks me. I couldn’t take my eyes from his, his eyes is so beautiful. He have brown eyes like me.

“It was nothing, I just remembered something just now that’s why. I’m sorry I haven’t introduced myself yet, my name is Sarah.” I said

“Nice name, I know we just meet but I like it if we can be friends if you don’t mind” he Said

“Sure, we can be friends it’s ok by me”

“Good, can I get your number if you don’t mind” he said as he kept looking at me making me to feel shy, I don’t know what is wrong with me.

“I don’t have phone yet” I said feeling bad about it.

“It’s ok then, can you tell me the name of your school so I can come and meet you anytime I have chances.” He said

I felt my heart stop for a moment, what did he just said. Should I tell him or not, I was still thinking about and I didn’t know the time I told him.

“Sure, the name of my school is royal academy It’s located at hospital road,you will get to my school before the hospital.” I said as I kept scolding myself. I just met him today and I’m telling him my school, what of if he’s a kidnapper and he came to get information about me, that was what I was telling myself but my mind said under wise.

“My school is not far from there also, I’m attending bright college. I can stop by when we close that’s if I can see you. What class are you Incase I didn’t see you around”?he said.

Bright college school is for those their parents have money, the school is among the most expensive school here in delta state. He school is not that far from my school, I always dream to attend that school. It looks like he came from a rich family, because that school if not for people like us who don’t have money to pay for it.

“I’m in SS2 and you”

“SS3 I will be writing exam by next year, I have to be on my way now,It was fun chatting with you. See you tomorrow Sarah”

He said as he walk away. I couldn’t stop smiling like a fool, I can’t wait to tell my friends about it tomorrow at school.

After sometime mom came outside and said it was time for us to go home, on our way mom kept asking me why I’m smiling I told it was nothing I was just thinking about a movie I watched which was making me laugh.

When we got home I eat my food and went to bed on time, on a normal day I use to watch movies until it’s midnight. The time was after nine when I went to bed, I couldn’t stop thinking about the chat I had with Caleb some while ago. I was just waiting for tomorrow to reach so I can see Caleb again, I didn’t know the time I slept off.
