The three months of training went by in the blink of an eye.

She knew their pattern and they knew her. Orions’s attentiveness, Apollo’s enthusiasm, and Hector’s flexibility were like fresh air for Cassandra and she unconsciously was letting them in her heart.
There was an unspoken comfort between them that didn’t need words to fill the time. Slowly they were becoming part of Cassandra’s life and she greatly appreciated them.
