Hector’s heart was in turmoil as he saw Cassandra groaning in pain. He rushed to the Pack doctor as fast as he could, but in his heart, he was still cursing himself for not hurrying up and more than that not being there for his mate.
“How is she?” Hector asked the doctor for the hundredth time, he was restless.
“Alpha, as I told you earlier she is fine, you brought her here at the right time, there is little blood loss but everything is alright.” The doctor assured Hector, who was looking terrified.
But this did nothing to ease Hector’s worries. When Cassandra opened her eyes after minutes he was startled.
“Are you alright?” he asked.
Cassandra looked around and as she tried to move a painful groan left her mouth.
“I am okay, is there anything I need to take care of?” Cassandra asked
