Evan's pov I didn’t sleep a wink that night. I just tossed and turned, worry gnawing at me like a hungry animal. Lila's face kept flashing in my mind—her angry tears, the way she walked away like I’d ripped her heart out. Did she really leave me for good? I needed to see her, to know if she was okay.
