KAI DEL ROSARIO: 19 YRS OLD — CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Tall (6’2") with messy sun-streaked brown hair that falls over his forehead no matter how many times he pushes it back. His eyes are the color of warm oak — they light up like Christmas trees when he grins, which is all the time. He has a few faint freckles across his nose from spending too much time outdoors for BSP activities, and a small scar above his eyebrow from tripping over a stack of Lena’s essays freshman year (he still teases her about it: "You almost killed your future favorite person"). He moves with easy, lanky energy — like a golden retriever who never runs out of enthusiasm — and always has a snack in his pocket "just in case Lena forgets to eat again."
Relies on his logic which helps him figure out clues and ways to escape. He treasures Lena and accompanies her on her late night article writing and clue hunting. He notices slight changes in her mood and knows her like the back of his hand. He notices her lately clinginess and wonders "Why now?"
