Act I, Chap. IIII

319 Words
The next afternoon... "Is it true? That my predecessor was your mom?" "Yep, she had me before her and my dad got married. She was really dedicated to writing." "Oh geez, and my mother's involved. She died when I was six" "Sorr-" "It's fine" Lena tried to find more clues. They checked the shelves, cabinets, boxes and locker. Unfortunately they didn't find any proof. They still didn't have any clues or leads on this mystery. Slowly she found her eyes slowly closing, she sat on her chair, trying to find details. Then, her eyes closed. "Hey Lena, I found another- clue?" Lena fell asleep with her hand laying on her arm, with her glasses still on. "My Shakespeare fell asleep, she's probably tired..." Kai removed his jacket and rested it on her shoulder. "I hope she won't be cold now..." (She looks so… at peace, and at home, although she's tired she still wanted to find clues, I wasn't even aware she fell asleep) "Hey Shakespeare, I know you're asleep but I'm thankful for your companionship, I annoy you 'cus that's my love language" (Wait, love language?) "Your always so intelligent, and I admire that as your mentor and trainer" (Oh-as a trainer) Kai looks away, giving her space and whispered to himself "I deeply care about her, and I wish her well, who knows, maybe I want to be HER golden retriever…" Later… Kai texted his friend Jay Santos, Hey bro, "how will I know if I'm inlove with someone?" "Bro, who's the lucky girl? You've always focused on acads and BSP activities, but never about girls" "Just answer me" Kai texted, annoyed at the teasing. "Fine, fine. First, you care for her, you have a soft spot for her, you miss her and you want to stay by her side. If it ticks all the boxes, soon you'll be embarrassed and red as a tomato, happy now?"
