“Do you know where Mr. Pearce"s facility is?” Bryant asked the police chief.
“No, I do not know precisely, only the approximate location; the actual location is known only to Senhor Pearce and a few chosen people. The tribe his people were working with live in a very isolated area, and it was agreed between Senhor Pearce and the regional government that they would not be disturbed in order to preserve their way of life.”
“What I"m really asking is if the murders took place anywhere near the tribe"s village, or Mr. Pearce"s facility.”
