“I agree,” Ross said. “We"re supposed to handle cases of serious and unusual domestic murders, in and around the Merseyside catchment area. We seem to be getting dragged more and more into cases that take us way out of our comfort zone.”

“Yes, quite a relief,” Ross agreed.
