  Joann's POV   My dress was perfect, if I do say so myself. I didn't do too much with my hair and my makeup was light. My shoes matched my bag and I loved that.   I didn't dress to kill, nor to impress. I settled for an outfit that I think was befitting for the occasion, and also an outfit that I was comfortable in.   "A pretty lady in pink," I muttered after looking at myself in the mirror.   I wasn't late for the event yet, so I still had time to do whatever I wanted. I did think about changing my jewelry but I kept discarding the thought.   One minute, I was hyped about the banquet, and the next, I was rethinking my decision to attend.
