  Steven's POV   "Godmother," I said as soon as the door opened.   "You're late," Samantha replied, she was seated with her legs crossed as she placed a glass of water down on the table right next to her.   "I was driving," I said. "And traffic was a nightmare." The maid in the room stepped aside with an ushering hand and I entered inside.   "And you're telling me that in that traffic you didn't have enough time to pick up your phone, twice?"
