The birthday party was pretty fine. I helped Angie through most of it, since she wanted to bring more food outside with the plates and silverware we brought. She offered to pay us back at the end of the day, but I declined the money and told her to keep it. I also told her that I didn't mind spending money on my new family. She smiled so big, with teary eyes as she gave me one of those perfect motherly hugs. I wrapped my arms around her and enjoyed the hug. I missed getting hugs from my mom, her hugs were like they could make you forget about all the bad in the world. I can definitely see Angie as a wonderful mother in law, so I'm going to talk to Beth about coming up more often.
