"Yes, Lex?" she asked.

"Mom said that we were leaving soon, so for me to come find you." the young girl looked at Bethany like she should hurry up and I don't know but my wolf didn't like my mate being rushed..especially rushed away from me.

Bethany turned and looked at me, then she laid a hand on my forearm. Which soothed my wolf down immediately. Hmm..strange. She probably learned that trick in one of those shifter books she likes to read. Hmm my mate likes to read, a smart woman then. I find that very attractive. Especially how she's looking at me with a soft smile and a spark in her eye as she keeps her hand on my arm.

Then she turned back to the young lady she called Lex and said "Sis, my friend here wants to take me out so we can talk a little and hangout. Can you tell mom I will be home safely, plus I have my phone and he has a phone with him so will call or text in constantly. Ok?"Hmm..how'd she know I had a phone? Wow, that's her sister.

Lex looked like she didn't want the one to tell their mother about that, but she nodded then told Bethany to be safe and to let them know how everything is going. Then the little girl turned to me and with a lot of effort she made a madly adorable face then said "Take care of my sister, if I don't hear from her I will call the police and tell them your exact profile so they can go get your ass. Got it?"

Bethany looked proud of her sister, but also like she was trying to hold in a chuckle. I looked at Lex and said "I'd never even think about hurting your sister. She will be completely safe with me. No worries, I promise. I can even give you my number and my address if that will stop you from worrying, heck I'll even give you my license plate." After I finished talking Bethany busted out laughing and it was beautiful. Like music to my ears.

I couldn't believe it!! I'm so f*****g happy right now. To believe the specimen in front of me is mine forever...like what?!?!?! He is absolutely handsomely rugged. Lifting my eyes back to examine my eye candy some more I start from the black curls on top of his well defined face. His black curls go down to his ears and dangle slightly in front of his amazingly bright blue babies. His eyes are a bright blue hue with a dark blue hue around the rims and right around the pupils. They draw me in and make me want to curl up and sleep in the deeps for as long as I can. Then directly under his eyes is a sharp nose that looks like it's been broken maybe once or twice. Ohhh boy under that nose set a pair of the sexiest lips I've ever set my eyes on. I just want to lean up on my toes and kiss the f**k out of his mouth. To feel his lips pressing against mine in a battle of dominance I surely would fall in surrender if he'd never stop.

He also had that sexy stubble I'm dying to reach up and touch. Perfect length with just enough for it to highlight his strong jawline, I'm begging to lick and nibble. Strong neck, but the shoulders on his man makes me want to climb him like a monkey. They're broad and well muscled. Well to be honest with myself he has muscles everywhere and I'm going to go crazy with curiosity to see what he looks like without that black t-shirt he's wearing that's outlining every bump and curve. The delicious bumps and curves move my eyes down to his strong thighs that could be the size of a tree trunk, especially all covered in tight blue jeans that hang dangerously low on his hips. But in the middle of those fine thighs of his is a hard length I'm dying to taste. I wonder how thick he is there? Or long he is? Sadly to finish my s****l appraisal is with black steel toed boots, that's been through alot if my eyes are any indication to how they look.

I brought my eyes back to him to find him giving me a smirk with his kissable lips. Leaning down he whispered in my ear "Mmm..you like what you see, Beautiful."

With him so close I felt my body leaning closer as a soft plea slipped past my lips. He lightly kissed my neck below my ear and I felt the smirk on his lips as he left his lips on my skin for what felt like minutes, but was actually seconds. Lexie gave me a look of worry, but I shook my head and took Damien's hand then led him to the Goodwill door. He stopped me though from leaving the book section.

"I don't want you to not be able to look, you might want one or miss one you might need." he said as he turned me towards the books. Awe, how sweet of him to worry about my book collection and feelings. I gave his hand a squeeze and a light pull.

"I already looked at all the shelves three times, none I want or need are on them. But thank you for making sure." I gave him one of my biggest smiles as I looked up at him under my eyelashes.

He smiled down at me as he said "Hmm..ok maybe we can go check out the library on the other side of this mall after we stop at Subway for some food." He was leading me to the door as he was speaking and I really loved his hand holding mine. Plus how he wants to take me to a library!! I feel like the happiest girl in the world!!! Yummy! Subway, I love their sub sandwiches.

"Ok, sounds like a great idea. I think anywhere would be perfect as long as we are together." I know it sounded cheesy, but I had to say it. He is my mate so I'll just be myself.

"I know what you mean I feel..." His phone went off with the sickness by Disturbed. He let go of my hand to answer and I instantly missed his touch, so like none of the books I've read I wrapped my arm around his waist so we could still touch and he gave me an appreciative look then moved closer as he put his phone to his ear.

"Hey, what's up?" he said. I couldn't hear the person on the other side of the phone so I watched his expressions morph from one emotion to the next. Then he said "I'm fine, I'll bring your food in a couple minutes and I'm bringing a surprise as well. So whatever you do don't tear the house down with hunger, Luc." He gave me a smile before he pulled my hand towards the road leading towards the huge parking lot of elkviews mall.

Once we speed walked towards the biggest black truck I' ve ever seen. A ram. Nice! I absolutely love trucks, especially big ones. He pulled out his keys, then unlocked the doors before lightly pulling me towards the passenger side.

He pulled the door open with ease and the instant smell of a new car smell with a blast of his woodsy mint smell that I'm falling addicted to. Helping me in, as I buckled in he shut the passenger door then moved his way to the driver's seat while he's still talking to someone named Luc. Before he opened the truck door he finished the call and then slipped his phone into the console. Ohh then that sexy body of his slipped in the seat and in seconds we were backing out of the parking lot. Giving me a smile, then slipped his hand onto my camo covered thigh. I looked down and smirked down at the size of his huge hand with my thick thigh. I slip my hand on his thigh, just to see what reaction I'd get out of him. My hand sliding across his denim felt pretty amazing and what was even better was feeling his strong thigh under my palm.

"So where are we going?" I asked as he turned his hungry eyes on to me.

Licking his lips he said with his deep voice "Well I have to go through a drive thru to get food, then I guess we're heading to my house. It's a lot later than I thought. But tomorrow I'll take you out book shopping if you want. Plus I think Luc would kill me if I didn't bring him food soon." He said the last part with a chuckle.

"That still sounds great. Plus I'm kind of hungry, and tired. So can I ask who Luc is?"I say with a sly smile.

He looked over at me with worried eyes then said "Are you ok? Or is it just late for you? Of course you can ask me anything, Baby. Lucas, well Luc for short is my twin brother. I think you'll get along well, he might be a little grumpy and that's just because he's hungry."His worried eyes turned playful for a little bit before scanning me for anything that will tell him if I'm sick or not.

"Mate, I'm fine. It's just getting late for me. Wow!! Cool you have a twin! Are you two close? Really? I hope." I tell him truthfully as I move as close as the console allows me to get. He seemed to agree with me and lifted his hand off my thigh to grab his phone, then handed me his phone while he lifted the console that separated us. Once that was moved I unclicked my seatbelt then slid over to the smaller middle seat to buckle back up as the left side of my body pressed up against his right side. I instantly felt heat warm in my core as I moved my hand back to his thigh and leaned closer.

He lifted his right arm, then wrapped it around my shoulders to bring me in more as he whispered "Just where I want you to always be. Right beside me. So gorgeous, where would you like to eat? Luc just told him to bring him anything, as long as I bring him a lot of options." He chuckled which made him rub up against me, sending warmth with each rub until I was squirming in my seat. His chuckled died in his throat as his eyes turned hungry as he watched my legs squirm. The hand he placed back on my thigh moved up a couple inches, but then stopped. "I think maybe we should wait, you said you were tired. My wolf won't let me do anything until you're cared for." He said with a husky voice, letting me know that he's as turned on as I am.

"I had a feeling you'd say that, that's why I told my body to calm down and wait til later. But back to your unanswered question. I am up for anything to eat. Since you're the driver it's up to you."I told him as I curled up as best I could in the front seat around him.
