Chapter 3: Void Of Nox

Eloisse slowly closed her eyes as she let out a soft sigh before opening them again. Enough staring at herself before she got crazy over her beauty.

She tilt her head, she saw a silhouette approaching her. It was a teenage boy with a gentle appearance. There was small smile in his lips and it didn't reach his eyes. However, his eyes was giving of warmth.

Eloisse squinted her eyes, she even rub her eyes. She almost get blind with the guy's appearance. It was as if a holy light was surrounding his body. He was giving off a holy vibe. One would thought that this child was a saint, or an angel that descended from heaven.

His hair was white as snow. He had a crystallic pupils. Those pair of eyes were like mirrors, it was clear and clean. It reflected anything.

His appearance was rather ironic to this warm place, because his appearance resembles winter. 

There were two cats followed after the boy. One was a white cat with thick fur. It had a sapphire eyes. The other was black cat with golden eyes.

The white cat enthusiastically pounced into Eloisse's arms, it rubbed its head in her arms and let out a soft meow. 

Unlike the enthusiast of the white cat, the black cat walked calmly and its golden eyes stared at Eloisse.

Eloisse furrowed her brows, she looked at the boy and asked, "Who are you?"

"We await your arrival, My lady. Welcome to the Void Of Nox. My name is Estranell, the spirit guardian of this place. These are spirit beasts, my companions. This is Ran and Hell." The white-haired boy, Estranell introduced. He pointed at the white cat when he mentioned the name Ran and to the black cat, when he mentioned the name Hell.

"Void Of Nox?" Eloisse asked, waiting for the explanation about this place.

"Void Of Nox, was an entirely small dimension. The Sovereign of Darkness, Zaire Morana Nox was the creator of this place, she was also called Shadow Empress in this world. Thousand years had passed ever since we lost our connection with her. Then, one day we appeared in another world called Earth. If I am correct, it was the world you found the Void Of Nox in the appearance of the bracelet."

When Estranell mentioned the bracelet, Eloisse subconsciously glance at the bracelet in her wrist and rub it with her fingers. It was only now that she notice the bracelet she was wearing because she's too focused in fleeing.

Eloisse remembered that she had indeed bought a bracelet. It was the very first time that she bought accessories since she didn't really like wearing those kind of things. But she was attracted by the bracelet by chance. It was as if there was something pushing her to buy the bracelet and so she did. But she didn't know that it was a treasure.

Now that she think about it, does it mean that because of this bracelet she was still alive? Does it mean her soul occupied this body thank to this bracelet?

Estranell seems to read her thoughts as he spoke, "To tell you the truth, we are also surprise that we return to this world, you're soul was also pulled in this world. We didn't know if it is because of your connection with the Void Of Nox or for any other reason."

The black cat, Hell nodded its head as if to support Estranell's words.

"Oh…" Eloisse could only utter. No matter what the reason is, she will live her life to the fullest!

She swept her gaze around the place with fascination. She couldn't help but praise in her heart, 'This place is truly magneficient. Why I didn't know I own such a wonderful place?' 

"Meow.." The white cat, Ran meowed and tugged its paws at her arms, as if telling her to notice it.

Eloisse chuckled softly as she stroke its fur to acknowledge its presence, 'This little cat is really adorable.'

Poof~

With the poofing sound, the little white cat transformed into a little girl who is around three years old.

Eloisse was shocked but Ran just giggled at her.

She immediately compose herself when she remember that this world is no longer the earth but a world where magic exist. What's more, this cat was a spirit beast.

When a beast evolved into a spirit beast they can transform into humans. At least, it was how the book that the princess once read described as and now that she become the princess, she too is aware about this.

She smiled and pinch Ran's cheeks and scolded in a soft tone, "You little girl, you surprised me!"

Ran blinked her sapphire eyes innocently and pouted, "Master... I miss you so much! We had been watching you from here and we know what was happening to you but unfortunately, we can't do anything."

When Eloisse heard this, her heart softened. She smiled gently as she hug the little girl. Perhaps, because they had already a connection so she was feeling like this towards her. She whispered softly, "Were you worried about me?"

Ran nodded and hummed as a response.

"Alright. You don't need to worry anymore. We just have to be thankful that I had been given a second life and am still alive." Eloisse rub her head. 

Ran smiled and comforted, "That's right! Don't worry, Master because from now on we will protect you. Isn't that right, Brother Hell?"

Hell in his cat form jumped and turned into a three year-old little boy. He approached Eloisse and nodded.

"Ranran is right, Master. We will definitely protect you this time." Eloisse was touched with this two little kids. They really warmth her heart.

This is the first time that she felt like this. In her previous lifetime, she was an orphan in her early age so she doesn't have any ideas about family affections and relationships. Now that she felt it for the first time. It was not that bad.

Eloisse pulled Hell into her embrace.

After they hug, Eloisse looked at the two little children. Her eyes twinkled. They are so cute and adorable that she wanted to bite their chubby cheeks. What would it feel like if she had a children like them— Suddenly, it gave her an idea.

"Don't call me, Master. Just call me mommy." Eloisse's lips curled in a brightest smile. She thought it was a good idea. 

In her past life, she had been living for almost 28th years in earth and she had never though to have a family of her own. She had been living just run away for her life or hiding from those forces who wants her life. Only to die by mistake, what a cruel fate she had.

Now that she had an instant children in this world, it was not too bad. Furthermore, this children were so adorable. It's not really a bad idea to adopt them. Although, the two of them are only spirit beast at least they had intelligence. 

Ran readily agreed with a sweet smile, "Yes, mommy!"

"…"

Hell remained quiet. It was quite awkward to recognize Eloisse as her mother when she's not really his birth mother. But when he saw Eloisse' beautiful smile, he couldn't bring himself to disagree.

"Cough! Cough!" Estranell was choked by his own saliva. He couldn't believe what Eloisse said. She wanted them to call her 'mommy', is this woman's brain well? Its fortunate that he's not included.

Eloisse looked at him and squinted her eyes. She scoffed irritatedly, "What? Any problem?"

"Ehem..." He cleared his throat and wave his hand telling her not to mind him. His holy image was truly ruined by this woman. 

Eloisse inmediately looked at the two childr3n in her arms. Her face quickly returned to its joyful expression.

"…"

Seeing how quick her expression change, Estranell was rendered speechless. 'Isn't this too unfair? Why is there such a drastic treatment?'
