I smiled on opening my eyes to a new day, my hands instantly reached out to my stomach as I caressed it softly.
I can't believe that I am pregnant, and a child lives inside of me. In months to come I will be a mother, and this is something I never thought possible.
A few months back, I was in a cage and I had no hope whatsoever. I believed that I was destined to die slowly and become nothing but a memory to those who knew me.
I never thought I would find a new home, and I would be loved in that new home.
