Blue's Pov;
I blinked, repeatedly as his words registered in my head. Wilder, he... he loves me.
"You do?" I whispered in unbelief, my airways constricting as I struggled to breathe.
"Yes, I love you. I love you, Blue." He nodded, gazing at me with a hundred percent sincerity.
"But— how.. I mean—"
Shutting me up, he kissed me shortly on my lips. "I'm sorry, I didn't respond when you confessed your feelings. I was afraid to let you in, into my world. I was afraid my darkness would consume you." He expressed softly, his eyes staring deeply into mine.
His right hand reached out to touch my cheeks, and without breaking eye contact, he cradled my face in his palm, "but I was wrong... you only bring light, to my world, Blue."
