"I am glad you are well now, Your Highness," Rose said with a warmed smile,
I was in my chamber, and for some reason, Rose, Sarah, and Scarlett had decided that all three of them needed to get me ready for the day—a task usually reserved for the maids and Rose alone.
"I am so glad too. I can't stop thanking the goddess for giving my friend the strength to come out of this ordeal stronger," Sarah said, throwing her arms around me in a tight hug.
"Me too!" Scarlett yelled, joining in the embrace, followed by Rose.
This—this had been my reality for the past hour. Endless chit-chat, emotional outpourings, and countless hugs.
"Enough! Get off me!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. Everyone let go—except Sarah, who clung to me as tightly as ever. "Sarah, please—"
