Chapter 19 Damian drove back to Fresno in a dark mood. He scolded himself for being bummed about something that was awesome for Alex—especially when he’d known it was coming all along. But it wasn’t only separation from Alex that depressed him. It was the realization that his own future was about to arrive, too.
