11. Note

Chorong's POV

Tao was already in his seat when I arrived in school the next day. He was in his usual sleepy pose --- arms on the back of his head.

"Goo-- good morning." I hesistated to say good. I still feel guilty for smiling at him yesterday.

He looked at me and bowed, more like a nod.

I sat on my chair feeling awkward.But thinking about how he smiled at me back, Woah! I'm such a lucky girl!

Though I know that he only saved me because of being Grease's rival, I know for sure that I am one of those few people who had seen him smile.

"uhm..Tao?" trying to start a conversation.

He moved his eyeballs to look at me.

"I'm sorry about yesterday." I said using all the confidence I gathered last night.

"for what?" he asked.

"Yesterday.." Gosh! It's so hard to explain. Embarrassing!

He faced me with much curiousity.

"Uhm.. yesterday.. the ball.. uhm.. when you were dribbling and saw me.. and u know.. then Kris ----"

"What were you sorry about that?"

Do I have to repeat myself again? Gosh! I'm super embarrassed!

I swallowed first before talking. "I just thought.. uhm.. uhm.. I might be the reason.. why you lost in the game." I lowered my gaze. I think I'm turning red right now.

He was silent for a few seconds and then, "Mwo?" He covered his mouth and laugh at me.

I feel like I wanna hide under my desk. Him laughing caught everyone's attention in the classroom.

"Yah! Stop laughing! You're making me embarrassed." I told him, half desperate.

Just then Mr. Kim Heechul entered our room.

We all kept quiet.

"Chariot! Kyungne." Suho's voice echoed as we bowed our heads to welcome our beloved teacher.

Mr. Kim started discussing. He teaches us English Literature, abd our topic today is Edgar Allan Poe and his works.

I was facing front. When I looked down at my notes, a piece of paper is on top of my notebook.

Do you think your smile is that disturbing for me to lose? Haha. Nah~ I don't think so. But if you're really guilty, treat me some food after the class. --- Tao

I immediately turned to him in shock. He faced me..

and smiled.
