In one friday morning, she was walking hastly in the cold air, towards the marketplace.
After shopping for veggies and fruits, a tall and handsome man stopped her to ask for donations for
sick children. They started talking and she though he seemed a nice and caring gentleman. His eyes were
like the blue ocean, his speech was clear and refined... and he seemed really interested in what she said.
He thought they could be together and asked her if she's single. Tears came out of her eyes when he said
he also was divorced and has a child. She turned here head to the right, to hide from him her face.
Tears came down because she was emotional about meeting a child, or a single father with an innocent child.
She loved children. She was happy that he has kids, because she imagined that he could be the one she was
looking for. She was searching for his eyes continually, then their eyes met.
She told him her name, her name was Cindy McLaurence. His name was Tommy Rilley.
After a few moments, he invited her to a cup of tea. They went to his place...
"What kind of tea you like? he asked.
"I'd like mint tea, please" replied Cindy.
"Allright, I can do that. Wait here a bit." said Tommy
He entered a*****e, bought some tea for them, actually it was mint or chamomile.
When they walked together side by side to his house, they passed through green gardens and the place where
she got coffee with her beloved aunt Vicky. They went there every weekend, to discuss together about everything,
about church her aunt went every weekend, about her friends there. That has happened when her little baby
was only 6 months old. Memories came back to her when they were near that coffee shop. The long gone
memories, the wonderful times, the happy times... from her childhood, when her strenght was full, her faith
was great, her mind was sharp, her dreams were vivid.
Finally, they arrived at his house. He unlocked the door, told her to get comfortable, while he makes her tea,
then they talked and revealed the past. He wanted to get closer, closer to her body. The tea was too hot, so she
couldn't drink it, even if she was too thirsty. He got closer, wanting to kiss her lips. She had red lipstick on,
with rose scent, that was intoxicating or exhilirating. When he tried to kiss her, she said only on the neck.
Maybe she wanted too much, to see her fantasy come true, or more fantasies... too complicated to describe,
one of them was to hold him or look at him when he doesn't see her, when he's cooking, cleaning or talking.
Perhaps she wants to look at him while he sleeps. Only for a few minutes... then back to dreamland.
(But she actually did that with her new boyfriend Casey, a few times, when he slept... she was missing him
so much... and he has disappeared for 8 days. No calls, no messages, nothing.)
She avoided Tommy's advances, or his charms, because she was very religious or pious. She also was loyal to
her boyfriend Casey, even if he was far away, even if he didn't want to reply or call her. Cindy became like
that, because she was looking for a real husband or a better life partner. Tommy wanted too soon, too much.
Attraction was too much, and for what reason?
She was overly pretentious, cautious or too arrogant, but she truly liked him. Maybe he was hypnotised by her
beautiful eyes, her smile... They continued talking... she tried to tell him about her life and about her interests.
When she saw he's not interested in her books or lifestyle, but only in kissing and touching her, she knew she
had to stop him. He took of In a few minutes, she was almost ready to leave, only she couldn't move, because
she wanted him. Not to make love, not to touch him. Just to look, only to look... or admire him... to get to know
him, to want him without telling him. It was easier to look at his picture and nothing more?
Then she drank a bit from her tea, because it was not hot anymore. She told him that sage tea can treat many
illnesses... he said that it's a new thing he learned. Suddenly, his phone rang, he was called to work.
So Cindy was saved by the bell... almost happy to get rid of that situation. They exchanged numbers and promised
to talk later, when they will have time,
to send messages, to text.
