"What? Yusuf called you?" Edwin's face was full of disbelief.
But when Mabel put her phone in front of her, Edwin saw clearly that it was indeed Yusuf's number displayed on the screen. Edwin's face instantly turned ashen. She pointed angrily at Mabel, her voice booming. "You already have a man! Why are you still pestering Yusuf?"
Mabel's face immediately darkened. "Watch your words. Take a good look. It's Yusuf who called me first!"
Edwin's face turned from ashen to red. Everyone in the company knew that Yusuf was with her, but now Yusuf was calling another woman! She felt everyone was laughing at her, but she tried to suppress her inner fury and pretended to be calm. "It's just a phone call. I don't mind at all. Go ahead and answer it."
