Power

Malek has grown himself into indiable fame. everybody knows him where ever he would go. from a 10 year old who parents loved today, Malek sets record after record for being the most recognized and influence in his school and in his community. the average teenager struggles with friends and validation. for Malek its a normal casual ritual for him. which has now gotten the attension of the council of heaven.

5 years ago, an 11-year-old old was opened up to a new reality by Bishop Akoye. Malek attended the Friday session helped by Akoye in the community hall, which was popularly known as the tree of wisdom. One evening changed the 11-year-old's life.

[while Malek was waiting for his Dad, he couldn't help but join Bishop Akoye in the office ]

Malek: last time you said the reason why everybody cried was because i had powers. Is that true?

Bishop Akoye: Well, Malek, power is not what there is, there is more to that.

Malek: I wish to know Bishop Akoye. Why is it that I was the only one that had that power and not any of my friends?

Bishop Akoye: it is because they chose not to display it Malek.

Malek: what do you mean?

Bishop Akoye: you see Malek before I get to power? You must first realise that you are more than just your physical body. You are an energy inside this body. You power this body into being.

Malek: so if you remove that energy from my body, I die?

Bishop Akoye: Yes exactly, the energy inside you powers your body to do things, just like electricity powers a TV or powers a radio, even the very light that was in the auditorium that evening of the event was powered by energy. But that is electrical energy. What you have inside you is a far more deadly energy.

Malek: wow, and how did everyone feel that Akoye?

Bishop Akoye: energy inside you is activated by consciousness Malek. The more conscious you are of something negative, the more negative energy you produce. That is why a man can be silent, but you can still tell that he is sad. This is because you can feel his energy even if he hasn't uttered a word.

Malek: wow, so, which means my friends during the play were not really conscious of the play.

bishop Akoye: they were conscious of the play Malek but their consciousness was in the form of a play to them, but you, however the whole play was real to you.. So the energy you displayed was so real and authentic that everyone could feel it and that energy caused an emotional effect on them. Malek

Malek: woah! So I can affect my environment with my energy. How cool? And what about power? What does power have to do with this?

Bishop Akoye: Power Malek is the ability to control the energies that live deep inside of you. This is what we call the human will, young man.

Malek: I want to know more Akoye?

Bishop Akoye: Well, power is a broad topic, Malek. It is through power a president controls his nation, it is through power a police officer controls traffic. But there's one power I need you to know of young man. The power to control the two energies that live inside of you, good and evil

Malek: woah! good and evil?

Bishop Akoye: Yes Malek, the greatest power one can have is to know which energy inside of him to subdue, the good energy that can change the world or the evil one that can cause chaos. If you are able to make a choice between the two, then you have power.

Malek: woah i wish everyone had known this Akoye? So would this world be better if people chose to have power over the evil inside of them? Is energy that powerful?

Bishop Akoye: Yes young one, soon life will test those two energies inside of you young one. The purpose of tests is to show you which energy is under your control and which one dominates your consciousness.

Malek: I don't want to be bad Akoye

Bishop Akoye: the choice is yours, Malek. Remember any energy that forces itself out of you, you have something called power to subdue it...

[car hoots in the parking lot]

Bishop Akoye: that must be your Dad... I will see you next Friday, Malek. Please remember you will be writing a quiz. Hope to see good grades.

Malek: Yes Mr Akoye, I will keep that in mind and I won't disappoint.

On that evening, Akoye gave Malek a nugget of wisdom that will for ever change his life. a new perception that has shaped the view of this world until today. A 16-year-old has known how to use his power ever since.

As Akoye said, tests expose the limit of power you have, towards the two energies that live inside of you. The warning the 16 year old didn't get from Akoye was that the teen years are the rocky years of every individual.. Malaek was not prepared for it, or maybe he was exposed to too much that he could handle. The council of heaven keeps full watch.
