Chapter 2

After the park, we went home again. Things really changed since me and Julia became roommates. Tomorrow was the big day and I had to look perfect. We went shopping not even a week ago. Julia is very rich so she can afford Luis Vuitton or Gucci or channel or brands like that. I keep it pretty simple. But still stylish. After some mac and cheese and our daily workout, we went straight to bed. We both wanted to be very well rested for tomorrow. I was about to close my eyes when I got a notification on my phone. I opened it and it was from Cole.

Cole: hey Lily, wanted to tell you that you looked stunning today like usually. I can't wait to see you tomorrow.

Me: hey Cole.. thank you for the compliment, you didn't look too bad yourself ;) I can't wait for tomorrow the start of another school year for our friend group.

Cole: ha yeah lol. How about we go to school together? Just you and me. I'll pick you up with the Mercedes and I'll drive us to school.

I could barely realize what he had just said. Did he really ask me to go to school together? Did he proposed to pick me up and give me a ride?!

Me: hey Cole, sure sounds great.

Cole: perfect I'll pick you up at 8. Hey also where are the smileys at?

Me: huh?

Cole: you always reply with one smiley at least xP

Me: XD I'm sorry I forgot sir

Cole: hmmmm I'll forgive you for your unhappiness this once but don't let it happen again.

Me: got it! XD

Cole: goodnight Lily

Me: goodnight Cole :)

I started at my phone for another 5 minutes before laying back down and closing my eyes. Cole is really a special guy and I seem to be lucky that he might..like me.. I couldn't contain my joy and had to share it with someone.

Me: hey Jessica! You'll never guess what happened today...I think Cole might like me!

Jessica: don't be so silly Lily. Why would Cole like you? How are you soooo sure?

Me:...I'm not..

Jessica: exactly, goodnight lily.

I sighed and decided to go to sleep after all. I closed my eyes and hoped on good and nice dreams. Yet I still couldn't stop wondering what tomorrow would be like. I hope it would be nice. Maybe I could make some new friends again. And maybe this year..I would finally date someone. Yes...until now I refused every single guy asking me out. Just because the only reason they ask me out is to become popular or tell their friends they have a popular girlfriend. With Cole it would be different...all different he would like me for me. I quickly fell asleep. The next morning we hurried and got dressed for the first day of school. I was so excited. I got dressed into ripped jeans and a crop hoodie with black sneakers. I styled my hair into a high long ponytail and applied mascara, blush eyeliner and lipstick. There ready for the first day of a school.

Julia got dressed into sweatpants and a crop hoodie as well. She had styled her hair into a messy bun and looked absolutely adorable. "Your driving with me right?" I started blushing and shook my head. "No Cole is picking me up" she smiled then grinned "oooooo you two lovebirds have fun" she said, adding a wink. I rolled my eyes and chuckled. "We aren't datinggggg" Julia looked at me with a mocking smirk on her face "not yet" I giggled and sat down, taking out my phone while waiting for Cole. I was winning in my game when the door bell rang. I heard Julia opening the door and greeting Cole. "Hey Cole, looking for your girl I presume" he grinned and walked up to me. "Maybe" I couldn't believe my ears! Did he just say maybe to "your girl" ?! I mean like..aghhh oh my goshhhh maybe Cole really likes me! "Ready Lily?" He asked. I nodded and turned off my phone, standing up ready to follow him. I said bye to Julia and we left for school. Julia was going to school alone today.

Cole opened the door of his car for me like a real gentleman and I couldn't help but blush a little. He closed the door and got into his car himself. He gave me a charming smile, before starting the car and driving off. The ride to school was a little awkward and quiet but that's ok. Maybe he was just shy around me. We arrived and right when we got out of the car, many people starting greeting us. Giving us looks. They were very clearly trying to figure out if we were dating or no. We went up to our friends but I was scanning the place, looking for my sister. Then I saw her. She was sitting against the tree on her own. I wanted to go up to me, but Jessica walked up to me instead. "Hey lily nice to see you again" she walked up to Cole and started blushing. "Hey Cole" she said all sweetly blinking her eyes way to much in my opinion. I rolled my eyes when Cole awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. I wanted to push her out of the way.

Jessica is my friend I know...well sort of. But she can be a real b***h. I know that sounds mean but believe me it's true. Jessica was dressed into a mini skirt with a top that showed way too much cleavage. She was very clearly trying to flirt but I didn't really care. I mean, Cole isn't mine...he can do whatever he wants. Although I wouldn't see what he would see in her. She's nothing but a b***h in sexy clothes. We aren't really friends but since she's in the popular group as well, I have no choice but to pretend that I like her. I looked away and from the corner of me eye, I saw my sister staring at us again. Starting to be a really creepy...if you ask me...
