Clarissa's P.O.V. The dim light of morning shined through the open window, and as I opened my eyes, I watched the dust particles dancing within the ray of light that touched the wall. I couldn't help but lay within the safety of the blankets and think about everything that had transpired over the last few months. Pain radiated through my body as my body tried to rid itself of the toxins that had been pumped into me while I was captive. Brantley had been so sweet to take care of me until I could be united back with Antonio. Groaning in pain, I managed to slowly sit up and sling my legs over the edge of the bed.
