I was humming while I prepared breakfast and waited for Laila to come. Ryan had already left for work, he had been staying in the guest room since our date. I had forgiven him. I knew deep down I still love him with all my heart. There was still a bit of doubt because dad still thinks it's too early to forgive him. He's still wary of him, but he warmed up a bit in his presence. I smiled as I heard small footstep in kitchen and turned to beam at Laila who was rubbing her eyes. Pickng her up I sat her on her chair and kissed her cheek. "Morning baby, how was sleep?" She yawned and grinned, "it was good. Where is daddy?"
