MILA'S POV I woke up in Jax’s bed the next morning with his heavy arm across my waist. His long hair was spread across the pillow, face relaxed in sleep. I slipped out quiet, heart still warm from last night but nervous about that box waiting at home. The old merch felt like a secret I wasn’t ready for him to see yet. Too embarrassing. Too much like admitting I’d crushed on him hard for years. I got dressed fast and kissed his forehead before leaving. “Work calls,” I whispered.
