I took a final glance in the mirror of the sun visor, my dark hair nicely styled with gel, even though it was just Saul who wouldn’t judge me in the least. I grabbed the alcapurrias and got out. Despite wearing a winter coat, I shivered from the biting chill as I treaded across the snowy lawn. I admired the three-story mini mansion with leftover snow blanketing the steep roof. The homes here were more expensive than my decent-but-smaller one in the city. It must have been renovated for Saul’s convenience if he needed an accessible space to live in. He had grown up here prior to the accident, and it hadn’t been accessible then.
