Second Chance Mate

I picked myself up knowing that they wouldn't want to see me when they get back.
I made my way out of the room. The effect of the devine punishment has ended and I have gotten some strength.
As I came out I haven't move too far when I saw Kayla and her minion holding white eggs.
I already know what they would do seeing the eggs in their hands, but running didn't seemed to be the best option. Omega lack in everything, strength, speed they were always at a disadvantage when challenged by a beta or an alpha.
"Ha! A useless omega wants to claim my man. How annoying," Kayla said with a scoff.
I kept quiet waiting for the punishment that awaits. "What do you think I should do to you?" Kayla asked with an evil smile as she pulled my hair.
A small cry escaped by lips, I was tired. Tired of everything, being weak, bullied and rejected by everyone.
"What did I do?" I yelled not able to bear the pains anymore. I wasn't the one who made the bond with Lewis, I wasn't the one who destined my fate to be an Omega, so why am I getting punished for a fact I can't change.
"Oh, challenging a beta is a great offense, hurting the future alpha is another offense don't you think you deserve death to pay for your sins?" Kayla asked.
"Get on it girls," She said signalling them with a head nod then a rain of eyes befell me.
I raise my hands to protect my face. The smell of raw eggs and the slime was irritating and revolting I felt the urge to puke at the moment but I swallowed the urge.
"What going on here?" Alpha Derick asked reaching the scene with Lewis behind him.
"We were punishing this Omega for disrespecting a Beta and trying to harm the future Alpha," Kayla said with a scared look and shaky voice. Everyone knew alpha Derick was a strict and just man, he treated everyone with respect.
"Is that true?" He asked me with a harsh look.
"I admit my mistake and accept my punishment, Alpha," I said with a bow.
"Isn't she your mate?" Alpha Derick asked Lewis.
"Not anymore," Lewis replied with a simple and straightforward answer.
"Don't tell me you....." Alpha Derick said but paused knowing the gravity of the matter.
"Excuse us," Alpha Derick ordered. Kayla and her minions left with Aurora at their back. She knew the symbol of the white eggs, it is for those who have either betrayed the pack or did unforgivable sins. Most people who got this punishment either commit sucide or leave the pack in shame.
"Yes father, I cannot allow a weakling to be my Luna," Lewis said.
"You dare go against the moon goddess plan, do you want to bring a curse to our pack?" Alpha Derick asked with an angry tone voice.
"I am soon to be an Alpha, an Omega as a Luna is not fit for me," Lewis retorted angrily.
"Soon to be Alpha my foot," Alpha Derick said with a sharp tone.
"You are going to hand over the post to me sooner or later,* Lewis said with a bold look.
"And what if I don't hand over my title?" Alpha Derick asked. Lewis challenging him got him more infuriated.
"As if you have another option, I am the only direct bloodline after your beloved son forsake the pack for a woman. He is weak and undeserving of the title," Lewis said with a slight mocking tone.
He knew what Lewis is saying was right, he didn't have any choice, the alpha title must be passed to one successor.
"He did that for his mate, he respected the moon goddess decision, but you.... Not only did you break up your bond you even watched her get bullied by that girl," Alpha Derick said with dissatisfaction and disgrace of his son imprudent actions.
Even though Kayla was a member of the pack he hated her for being rude and bullying the weak but as the alpha he is responsible for everyone well being and punishing a beta for an omega doesn't seemed to be an ideal decision to make.
"I want you to get her back, that if you want the Alpha post," Alpha Derick said as he left.
"Never going to happen dad, I won't stoop so low to her level," Lewis said.
"If you are not going to give it to me peacefully, then I will have to take it by force," Lewis threatened.
"Let me see you try boy," Alpha Derick said as he left.
Lewis mind connect to the nearby Omega she-wolves to come and clean up the mess on his door.
In a deep forest, Aurora walk heading forward with no destination in mind. All she wanted was to leave and never return to the pack.
She walked for hours till it was night, tired and exhausted she fell on the floor. Her stomach made grumbling noises reminding her it was empty. She was in a dark forest with no fruit to eat.
She lay down on the floor looking at the dark sky. "Why am I this unlucky?" She asked herself as tears stream down her eyes.
"Moon goddess, why did I have to suffer this much?" Aurora asked looking at the moon which hung in the sky.
Soon the footsteps of something or someone coming from the north direction caught her attention, with a swift motion she transformed into a white wolf using her last bit of strength to escape. She didn't know what it was but she could guess that it is either scavengers who would rape and hurt omega she-wolves or guards of other werewolf territory. She wouldn't want to encounter neither
She move too fast that she mistakenly crossed the boarder of the werewolf clan to the human world entering what seemed like a white mist, the last thing she saw of the person was a pair of dazzling jade green eyes.
