Ade's POV
I had gotten into the car and sat beside Delvin when we were about to leave Royal Mines feeling more comfortable than when we came to the pack. I felt happy that even if we were not in the right place in the relationship, we had an understanding.
My happiness was short-lived, though, when I realized that Delvin was mostly ignoring me. I caught him stealing glances at me once or twice but he had not tried to pull me closer to him. I would not deny that I looked forward to being touched by him. It scared me to no end that I was on the verge of telling him the truth about me if it meant I would be held by him.
Feeling emboldened by what happened between us that morning, I moved closer to him and put my hand on his arm. Without looking at me, he adjusted himself and held my hand
