I was both excited and apprehensive as we journeyed to our new abode for the next year. Beta Kent's words won't stop ringing in my ears. At the same time, I was excitedly looking forward to a new experience.
“I am so excited to go to a new place for the next level. Damn! It has been a year already. How time flies,” Kyle whispered to me excitedly.
Indeed. Time does fly. I missed home, I missed my parents, I missed my friends, but I had successfully converted all of my pains into the motivation behind my hard work as a trainee.
I still contacted Will once in a while when I couldn't take the ache in my heart and the yearning for home. He only told me about my parents being okay; that was all I needed; anything more might make me too homesick.
