“Alpha.” Someone called behind me and I jumped in fright.
Sincerely, I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings because I was busy thinking about Delvin. He left camp two days before and I had not heard from him. Beta Kent went with him, so there was no way to ascertain when he would be back, but I never thought someone could walk up to me without my knowledge.
