“I can almost hear your mind spinning one million times per minute,” Delvin said, then gently placed a hand on my leg, which startled me.
“I am sorry. I wasn't listening,” I said turning to him. We were on our way to the pack that bordered with Double Moon and I couldn't stop wishing I could just go home and be with my parents.
“You were startled. What were you thinking?” Delvin asked raising a brow.
“Tristan,” I answered saying the first thing that came to my mind. The storm in Delvin's eyes after that made me realize my mistake.
