Lacy’s POV
I can just see the sun coming up over the horizon as I make my way to the training fields. As I approach, I see Jake in shorts and a skintight athletic shirt. I can already tell it’s going to be difficult to focus today.
“Alright everyone!” I hear Jake’s voice shout across the fields. The loud chatter immediately quiets down, and everyone turns their focus to their Alpha. Hearing the authority in his voice makes my heart start to race.
“Chloe was right,” Cecelia purrs. “There’s nothing hotter than seeing Jake take charge.”
“Can you not? I’m already struggling over here.” I grumble to her.
I try to take my eyes off of Jake and focus on something else, like the giant tree in the distance. But as soon as Jake starts talking again, my eyes snap right back, mesmerized.
